What makes these fish so unique are the layers. Every time you look you will find something new.

The first layer is paper collage including pieces ripped from fine Japanese papers, wrappers from chopsticks, tissue paper, leaves and petals from flowers. Then numerous layers of acrylic paint is applied to add detail, depth, texture and pattern. Beads are then attached to give a little sparkle. Then it is protected with several layers of water-based varnish.

The predominant colours of this fish are greens, with splashes or oranges and browns.

This little fishy was hand cut from scrap wood. This fish has a small hole in it's nose for hanging. It makes a beautiful and unique accent to any home or office. It would also make the perfect gift for that Pisces in your life.
