These two fish are sold as a pair. The beauty of these little fishies is in the detail and layers. Every look will bring new surprises.

Each layer is lovingly laid down, allowed to dry and then the next layer until complete. The first layer is paper collage. The second layer is chalk pastel drawings which is fixed using acrylic gel medium. Numerous layers of acrylic paint is applied to add detail, texture and pattern. Beads, tinsel and thread are then attached to give a little sparkle. They are then protected with layers of water-based varnish.

They were both hand cut from scrap wood. The predominant colours are greens.
